A beautiful song by Steven Curtis Chapman to his daughter. It's popular at weddings, but I remember him sharing in a concert a few years ago, that he actually wrote it for his daughter who was going through a rough patch in her life. The words and tune are really beautiful, and it reflects the love a father has over his daughter.

Likewise, God does love His children as well, but to a much greater extent. Our father's love for us in this life is just a pale comparison of the love that our Father has for us. In fact, God loved us while we were still sinners, and He demonstrated it through Christ's death (Romans 5:8). And it is because that great love for us through that great act, that we can now be called children of God (1 John 3:1)! Thank you Jesus for You will be there interceding for us through all eternity, because of Your great love (Romans 8:34-35).
