A Christmas song by Mark Lowry / Buddy Greene. We tried to perform Clay Aiken rendition of it, at our church's Christmas event. In Isaiah 9:6-7, the prophet Isaiah prophesied of the Messiah who would come to save His people. This child would be born, and He would be given authority and rule over His people, and establish His kingdom forevermore.

When Christ was born, He fulfilled Isaiah's prophecy. And these are the names He will be and is called - Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. This is the Jesus whom we proclaim was born, who lived and died a sinless man, whom God raised on the third day, and is now seated at His right hand and rules over all creation(Ephesians 1:20-21). Mary's child is indeed our Saviour, Deliverer, and perfect Lamb.
