You Are My Desire by By The Tree

A worship song by By The Tree. In Psalm 40:8-10, David sings, "I desire to do your will, O my God; your law is within my heart. I proclaim righteousness in the great assembly; I do not seal my lips, as you know, O LORD. I do not hide your righteousness in my heart; I speak of your faithfulness and salvation. I do not conceal your love and your truth from the great assembly."

King David was on the run from his enemies, when he wrote this psalm. It was a time of great trouble for him, but even through it, he put his trust in God to see him through. Even through it, he declared that he will desire to do God's will, to proclaim His righteousness to others. Can our response really be like David, in the midst of our troubles? Do we desire more for God and to do His will in our lives? 'But may all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you; may those who love your salvation always say, "The LORD be exalted!"'

You are my desire,no one else will do. Only You can satisfy, nothing else can satisfy. No one Lord but You!
